On Saturday, December 10, 2016, at approximately 9:43 PM The Shiloh Police Department responded to King’s Mart, 1551 Hartman Lane in reference to physical disturbance involving several subjects. Dispatch advised responding officers that one subject had been run over by a vehicle. As officers arrived on scene, the suspect vehicle was located attempting to flee the scene. The driver was taken into custody without incident. An adult male was transported to Memorial Hospital East with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
A subsequent investigation ensued. The results of the investigation were presented to the St. Clair County State’s Attorney’s Office for review.
On Monday, December 12, 2016, St. Clair County Assistant State’s Attorney James Fuld issued a three-count warrant #16CF0156601 Aggravated Battery/Great Bodily Harm, #16CF0156602 Aggravated Battery/Use Deadly Weapon, and #16CF0156603 Aggravated Battery/Public Place, all Class 3 Felonies, charging Demond D. Crosby 27, of the 1600 block of South Belt West in Belleville with the above crimes.
The warrant was reviewed by St. Clair County Judge Christopher Kolker who set Crosby’s bond at $65,000. Crosby is currently in custody at the St. Clair County Jail for want of bond.
