On Thursday, September 28, 2017 at approximately 2:09 AM The Shiloh Police Department responded to an apartment in the 500 block of Williamsburg Drive for a report of a residential burglary.
Through investigation, a suspect was identified that is an acquaintance of the victim. He was taken into custody on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 and the results of this investigation were submitted to the St. Clair County State’s Attorney’s Office for review.
On Thursday, November 9, 2017, St. Clair County Assistant State’s Attorney Elizabeth Nester issued warrant #17CF00142101 for Residential Burglary, a Class 1 Felony, charging Johnathon M. Hasenstab, 20, of the 1st block of Pheasantwood Drive in Belleville with the above crime.
The warrant was reviewed by St. Clair County Judge Randall Kelley and he set Hasenstab’s bond at $25,000. Hasenstab is currently in custody at the St. Clair County Jail for want of bond.
