On Monday, May 29, 2017, at approximately 4:07 a.m., an Officer with the Shiloh Police Department was on patrol when he observed a vehicle on North Greenmount Road commit a traffic violation.

The Officer initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle and made contact with the driver.  During the investigation, the Officer determined the driver was under the influence of alcohol and the subject’s driver’s license was suspended for a previous Driving Under the Influence charge.  The driver was taken into custody without incident and the case was submitted to the St. Clair County State’s Attorney Office.

On Tuesday, May 30, 2017, St. Clair County Assistant State’s Attorney Elizabeth Nester issued a two count warrant #17CF0066701 for Aggravated Driving Under the Influence, a Class 4 Felony, and warrant #17TR0015333 for Driving While Driver’s License Suspended, a class A Misdemeanor, charging Kiara Mosely, 30, of the 2600 block of Commons Parkway in Belleville, IL, with the above crime. 

The warrant was reviewed by St. Clair County Judge Jan Fiss and he set Mosley’s bond at $50,000.  Mosley is currently in custody at the St. Clair County Jail for want of bond.
