On Thursday, June 8, 2017 at approximately 8:20 PM The Shiloh Police Department responded to White Castle located at 1141 North Greenmount Road for a large fight in progress. Officers were advised one subject involved in the fight had a bat and one subject present was armed with a shotgun.
When Officers arrived at the restaurant, the suspect armed with the shotgun fled the scene in his vehicle. Officers pursued the vehicle, but called off the pursuit after the suspect committed numerous traffic violations and speeds reached a level that were not safe for the public.
The suspect was taken into custody at the Shiloh Police Department on Tuesday, June 13, 2017. The results of the investigation were submitted to the St. Clair County State’s Attorney’s Office for review.
On Wednesday, June 14, 2017, St. Clair County Assistant State’s Attorney Areda Johnson issued warrant #17CF0071801 for Aggravated Fleeing/Attempting to Elude a Police Officer/2+ Traffic Devices, #17CF0071802 for Aggravated Fleeing/Attempting to Elude a Police Officer/21 MPH Over, and #17CF0071803 for Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon/No FOID, all Class 4 Felonies, charging Jonathan M. Pham, 18, of the 100 block of Worthington Drive in Belleville with the above crimes.
The warrant was reviewed by St. Clair County Judge Jan Fiss and he set Pham’s bond at $25,000. Pham is currently in custody at the St. Clair County Jail for want of bond.
