Threatening a Public Official
Domestic Battery Subsequent Offense
On Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at approximately 4:07 AM The Shiloh Police Department responded to an apartment in the 2400 block of Patrick Drive for a domestic battery in progress.
Officers arrived at the residence, conducted an investigation, and took the suspect into custody. The victim and suspect both declined medical treatment for minor injuries at the scene. While in custody, the suspect made threatening statements toward Officers with the Shiloh Police Department. The results of the investigation were submitted to the St. Clair County State’s Attorney’s Office for review.
On Thursday, June 22, 2017, St. Clair County Assistant State’s Attorney Jason Emmanuel issued warrant #17CF0076701 for Threaten a Public Official, a Class 3 Felony, and warrant #17CF0076702 for Domestic Battery/Prior Conviction, a Class 4 felony, charging Arlandus Leatherwood, 44, of the 2400 block of Patrick Drive in Shiloh with the above crimes.
The warrant was reviewed by St. Clair County Judge Jan Fiss and he set Leatherwood’s bond at $100,000. Leatherwood is currently in custody at the St. Clair County Jail for want of bond.
