On Thursday, January 18, 2018, The Shiloh Police Department began an investigation into multiple thefts of cell phones and currency from Cricket, 3950 Greenmount Crossing Drive, by an employee of the business.

The employee was taken into custody on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 and the results of this investigation were submitted to the St. Clair County State’s Attorney’s Office for review.

On Thursday, February 1, 2018, St. Clair County Assistant State’s Attorney Elizabeth Nester issued a two-count warrant #18CF0015801 and #18CF0015802, both for Theft, both Class 3 Felonies, charging Lacey R. Gorley, 22, of the 800 block of North 39th Street in Belleville with the above crime. 

The warrant was reviewed by St. Clair County Judge Randall Kelley and he set Gorley’s bond at $40,000.  Gorley is currently in custody at the St. Clair County Jail for want of bond.
