On Sunday, February 18, 2018 at approximately 2:36 AM The Shiloh Police Department responded to Motomart located at 1790 Frank Scott Parkway for a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot.

Officers arrived on scene, made contact with the occupant asleep in the vehicle, and began an investigation.  The driver was taken into custody based upon the observations of the officers and items that were located inside the vehicle. The case was submitted to the St. Clair County State’s Attorney’s Office for review.

On Sunday, February 18, 2018, St. Clair County Assistant State’s Attorney David Sternau issued warrant #18CF0024101 for Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon, a Class 4 Felony and warrant #18CM0000453 for Unlawful Possession of Cannabis 30-100 Grams/1st Offense, a Class A Misdemeanor, each charging Rynaldo V. Cotton, 23, of the 300 block of Biggs Drive in Shiloh with the above crimes. 

The warrants were reviewed by St. Clair County Judge Christopher Kolker and he set Cotton’s bond at $25,000.  Cotton has posted his necessary bond and been released pending his court date.
