Through continued investigation a second suspect was located and taken into custody on October 19, 2017. The case was submitted to the State’s Attorney’s Office Violent Crime Unit for review.
On Friday, October 20, 2017, St. Clair County Assistant State’s Attorney John Trippi issued warrant #17CF0134401 and warrant #17CF0134402 both for Armed Robbery/Armed with a Firearm, a Class X Felony, charging Demetric J. Pointer, 19, of the 2300 block of Carol Street in Cahokia with the above crimes.
The warrant was reviewed by St. Clair County Judge Randall Kelly and he set Pointer’s bond at $150,000. Pointer is currently in custody at the St. Clair County Jail for want of bond.

On Saturday, December 31, 2016 at approximately 9:37 PM The Shiloh Police Department responded to an apartment in the 500 block of Williamsburg Drive for an armed robbery.
The two residents of the apartment indicated they had been robbed of personal property at gunpoint. The suspects were allowed into the residence by the victims. One suspect was an acquaintance of the victims. No one was harmed during the incident.
One suspect was taken into custody on Thursday, January 5, 2017 and the results of this investigation were submitted to the St. Clair County State’s Attorney’s Office Violent Crime Unit for review.
On Friday, January 6, 2017, St. Clair County Assistant State’s Attorney James Fuld issued warrant #17CF0001801 and warrant #17CF0001802 both for ArmedRobbery/Armed with a Firearm, a Class X Felony, charging Juston J. Addison, 22, of the 500 block of Cooper Drive in Cahokia with the above crimes.
The warrant was reviewed by St. Clair County Judge Heinz Rudolpf and he set Addison’s bond at $150,000. Addison is currently in custody at the St. Clair County Jail for want of bond.
This case is still ongoing and the Shiloh Police Department is still seeking a second suspect in this case. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Shiloh Police Department.
