On Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at approximately 8:47 PM The Shiloh Police Department responded to an apartment in the 500 block of Williamsburg Drive for a domestic battery that just occurred.

The suspect fled the scene before the Officers arrived.  The victim received medical treatment at a local hospital for minor injuries and was released.  The suspect was taken into custody on Thursday, January 11, 2018 and the results of the investigation were submitted to the St. Clair County State’s Attorney’s Office for review.

On Friday, January 12, 2018, St. Clair County Assistant State’s Attorney Jennifer Powell issued warrant #18CF0006501, #18CF0006502, #18CF0006503, and #18CF0006504 each for Domestic Battery Subsequent Offense, a Class 4 Felony, charging Kalvin L. Williams, 26, of the 15000 block of Forte De France Lane in St. Louis with the above crimes. 

The warrant was reviewed by St. Clair County Judge Randall Kelley and he set Williams’ bond at $40,000.  Williams is currently in custody at the St. Clair County Jail for want of bond.
