On Monday, May 28, 2018 at approximately 4:37 PM The Shiloh Police Department received a report of single gunshot in the 1st block of Ramona Drive. At the same time, a male entered the Shiloh Police Department, which is in close proximity to Ramona Drive, with a gunshot wound to his facial area.

The subject was transported to a local hospital by ambulance for non-life-threatening injuries. He received treatment and was later released. Officers responded to the scene and began to investigate. It was determined that a firearm had been discharged during a domestic disturbance. The female involved was taken into custody without incident and the results of this investigation were submitted to the St. Clair County State’s Attorney’s Office for review.

On Wednesday, March 30, 2018, St. Clair County Assistant State’s Attorney Agnes Bugaj issued a two-count warrant #18CF0083901 for Aggravated Battery-Discharge of Firearm, a Class X Felony, and warrant #18CF0083902 for Reckless Discharge of a Firearm, a Class 4 Felony, both charging Leticia D. Brown, 37, of the 1st block of Ramona Drive in Shiloh with the above crimes.

The warrants were reviewed by St. Clair County Judge Julie Katz and she set Brown’s bond at $125,000. Brown is currently in custody at the St. Clair County Jail for want of bond.
