On Wednesday, September 11, 2019 The Shiloh Police Department was alerted at the end of the school day by the Administration of the Shiloh Village School District #85 of a student that made a threat towards the Shiloh Middle School located at 1 Wildcat Crossing for the school day today. The juvenile was taken into custody and did not have means to carry out the threat at school or at his residence. The juvenile was held at the St. Clair County Juvenile Detention Center pending a juvenile petition to the St. Clair County State’s Attorney’s Office.
On Thursday, September 12, 2019, St. Clair County Assistant State’s Attorney Martin Plute issued juvenile charges for Disorderly Conduct (School Threat), a Class 4 Felony, charging a 13-year-old juvenile from Shiloh with the above crime. The juvenile remains in the custody of the St. Clair County Juvenile Detention Center.
