On Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at 12:11 P.M. the Shiloh Police Department was dispatched to the 1600 block of Hartman Lane in reference to subject threatening to harm himself. Upon our officer’s arrival, the subject was armed with a knife. The subject resisted and fought the officers and E.M.S. personnel attempting to prevent him from harming himself. The subject was secured and continued to resist by attempting to bite emergency personnel and spitting on the officers. The subject was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment. This case was submitted to the St. Clair County State’s Attorney’s Office for review.
On Thursday, November 14, 2019, Assistant State’s Attorney Elizabeth Nester issued warrant #19CF0172101 for Aggravated Battery, a Class 2 Felony, charging
Kaleb C. Sapp, 25, of the 1600 block of Hartman Lane in Shiloh with the above crime.
The warrant was reviewed by St. Clair County Judge Julie Katz who set Sapp’s bond at $50,000. Sapp is currently at large
