On Friday, October 18, 2019 Shiloh Officers responded to the Circle K located at 1242 Thouvenot Lane in reference to a criminal damage which had occurred previously. Upon officer’s arrival they spoke with the clerk who stated an unknown white male punched a gambling machine screen. The screen broke and the suspect left the scene. The suspect was identified through investigation. On Friday, March 13, 2020 the suspect was taken into custody by the Fairmont City Police Department for another charge and turned over to the Shiloh Police Department. This case was submitted to the St. Clair County State’s Attorney’s Office for review.

On Friday, March 13, 2020, St. Clair County Assistant State’s Attorney Elizabeth Nester issued warrant #20CF0045401 for Criminal Damage to Property, a Class 4 Felony, charging Jeffrey R. Walton, 56, of the 3300 block of Four Pines Lane in Shiloh with the above crime.

 The warrant was reviewed by St. Clair County Judge John O’Gara who set Walton’s bond at $20,000. Walton is currently incarcerated in the St. Clair County Jail for want of bond.
