On Wednesday, February 19, 2020, Shiloh Officers responded to the 700 block of Green Mount Road in reference to a domestic battery which occurred inside a vehicle while driving northbound. Upon arrival, units made contact with the female driver, and male passenger. After speaking with both parties, the male passenger was taken into custody. The case was submitted to the St. Clair County State’s Attorney’s Office for review.
On Wednesday, February 20, 2020, St. Clair County Assistant State’s Attorney Mel Kimberlin issued a warrant #20CF0031501 for Domestic Battery Subsequent, a Class 4 Felony, charging Henry L. Stephens, 32, with the above crime.
The warrant was reviewed by St. Clair County Judge John O’Gara who set Stephens’ bond at $55,000. Stephens is currently incarcerated in the St. Clair County Jail for want of bond.
