Contact Number: 618-632-9047

On Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at approximately 3:20 PM Shiloh Police Officers were dispatched to a residence in the 100 block of Twin Oaks Drive for a home invasion where gun shots had been fired.

While responding, Officers were informed that a person had been shot at the residence and suspects were fleeing the scene in a white in color passenger. Two Shiloh Police Officers located the suspect vehicle travelling north bound on Greenmount Road from Lebanon Avenue. They attempted to perform a traffic stop, but the vehicle fled at a high rate of speed. The Shiloh Officers, in addition to several assisting law enforcement agencies, pursued the vehicle until they lost sight and terminated the pursuit on west bound Interstate 64 near Interstate 255.

Shiloh Officers at the residence on Twin Oaks Drive made contact with a 21-year-old male that had been shot two times in the leg. He was transported to a St. Louis area hospital where he is receiving treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.

Detectives are actively working this case and following up on leads. We would like to reassure the community that this was not a random act of violence. The suspects in this case are known to the victim. We would encourage anyone with information regarding this case to contact the Shiloh Police Department at 618-632-9047.
