On Monday, April 20th, 2020 at approximately 11:06 a.m., Shiloh Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of Williamsburg Drive for a report of a Domestic Battery that had just occurred. The victim reported she was in a physical altercation with the suspect in which the suspect placed his hands around her throat, obstructing her airway for a period of time. The suspect was taken into custody. This case was submitted to the St. Clair County State’s Attorney’s Office for review.
On Tuesday, April 21st, 2020, St. Clair County Assistant State’s Attorney Melvin Kimberlin issued warrant #20CF0056401 for Aggravated Domestic Battery/Strangulation, a Class 2 Felony, charging Brandon L. Crawford, 28, of the 500 block of Williamsburg Drive, Shiloh, Illinois with the above crime.
The warrant was reviewed by St. Clair County Judge Zina Cruse who set Crawford’s bond at $40,000 with 10% applying. Crawford is currently in custody at the St. Clair County Jail for want of bond.
