On Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at 5:34 P.M. the Shiloh Police Department were dispatched to the 1st block of Yorkshire in Shiloh for a 9-1-1 call verification.  Upon officers’ arrival, it was determined the 9-1-1 call was in reference to a domestic battery which had previously occurred.  After speaking with victim, it was determined the suspect had left the scene prior to officers’ arrival.  The case was presented to the St. Clair County State’s Attorney’s Office for warrant review.

On Friday, December 17, 2021 St. Clair County Assistant States Attorney Mel Kimberlin issued warrant #21CF0198701 for Aggravated Battery to a Pregnant Person, a Class 3 Felony, charging Tony Robertson Jr., 27, of the 400 block of North 6th Street in East St. Louis with the above crime.

The warrant was reviewed by St. Clair County Judge Robert Haida who set Robertson bond at $75,000 with 10% applying. Robertson is currently at large.

*All persons are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law.
