NEWS RELEASE - Cyber Stalking/Violation of an Order of Protection

On Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at approximately 12:13 A.M., Shiloh Officers were dispatched to the area of Linden Drive in Shiloh in reference to a Violation of an Order of Protection. The victim observed the suspect outside her residence, and he had left the scene prior to the arrival of Officers. During the following weeks, the suspect attempted to contact the victim numerous times, and attempts to locate the suspect were unsuccessful. This case was submitted to the St. Clair County State’s Attorney’s Office for review.
On Thursday, February 18, 2021, St. Clair County Assistant State’s Attorney Grant Simon issued a thirteen-count warrant: #21CF0025701 for Cyber Stalking, a Class 4 Felony, and #21CF0025702 through #21CF0025713 for Violation of an Order of Protection, all Class 4 Felonies, charging Fred H. Aubuschon II, 48, of the 1600 block of Old State Route 158, Belleville, Illinois with the above crimes.
The warrants were reviewed by St. Clair County Judge Christopher Hitzemann who set Aubuschon’s bond at $75,000 with 10% applying. Aubuschon was taken into custody a short time later and is currently in custody at the St. Clair County Jail for want of bond.
