On Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at 2:22 A.M. the Shiloh Police Department were dispatched to the 100 block of High Street in Shiloh for a domestic disturbance. Upon officers’ arrival, they met with all parties and it was determined the suspect had an active warrant through the Collinsville Police Department for failure to register as a sex offender. In addition, the suspect had not previously registered as a sex offender at the residence where he was living. The case was presented to the St. Clair County State’s Attorney’s Office for warrant review.
On Thursday, December 30, 2021, St. Clair County Assistant States Attorney Elizabeth Nester issued warrant #21CF0203901 for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender, a Class 3 Felony, charging Robert J. Hamner, 34, of the 100 block of High Street in Shiloh with the above crime.
The warrant was reviewed by St. Clair County Judge John O’Gara who set Hamner’s bond at $35,000 with 10% applying. Hamner is currently in custody at the St. Clair County Jail for want of bond.
