On Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at approximately 12:16 AM the Shiloh Police Department was dispatched to Circle K located at 105 South Main Street for a Robbery that just occurred to the business. A female suspect demanded money from the cash register while keeping her hand concealed in the front pocket of her jacket. Officers from the Shiloh and O’Fallon Police Department searched the immediate area and located a female fitting the suspect description walking out of a wood line approximately one block east of the store. After detaining the subject, evidence from the robbery was located during a search of the wooded area the subject had been seen leaving. The subject was taken into custody and the case was presented to the St. Clair County State’s Attorney’s Office for warrant review.
On Wednesday, April 21, 2021, St. Clair County Assistant State’s Attorney Erin Connor issued a two-count warrant #21CF0061301 for Robbery, a Class 2 Felony, and warrant #21CF0061302 for Theft from a Person, a Class 3 Felony, charging Amanda M. Scott, 39, of the 300 block of North Main Street in Shiloh with the above crimes.
The warrants were reviewed by St. Clair County Judge Robert Haida who set Scott’s Bond at $30,000.00 with 10% applying. Scott is currently in custody at the St. Clair County Jail for want of bond.
