NEWS RELEASE - Failure to Register as a Sex Offender

On Sunday, February 13, 2022, the Shiloh Police Department was informed of a possible unregistered sex offender residing in the Village. During the investigation it was determined a subject residing at a residence in the 100 block of North Main Street failed to register as a sex offender. On Tuesday, February 15, 2022, the subject was taken into custody for an unrelated traffic warrant, and the results of this investigation were forwarded to the St. Clair County State’s Attorney’s Office for review.
On Thursday, February 17, 2022, St. Clair County Assistant State Attorney Beth Nester issued warrant #22CF023501 for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender, a Class 3 Felony, charging Donald L. Green, 52, of 100 block North Main Street in Shiloh with the above crime.
The warrant was reviewed by St. Clair County Judge Haida who set Green’s bond at $30,000.00 with 10% applying. Green is currently in custody at the St. Clair County Jail for want of bond.
