Contact: Detective Chris Flynn
Contact Number: 618-632-9047

On Monday, March 7, 2022, a subject came into the Shiloh Police Department to register at an address in Shiloh as a Sex Offender.  During our investigation, it was discovered the subject had been residing at the residence for some time before attempting to register, and it was determined the address was within 500 feet of a park.  The suspect was taken into custody, and the case was forwarded to the St. Clair County State’s Attorney’s Office for review.

On Wednesday, March 9, 2022, St. Clair County Assistant State Attorney Elizabeth Nester issued warrants #22CF0032201 for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender, a Class 3 Felony, and 22CF0032202 for Unlawful Residence of a Child Sex Offender, a Class 4 Felony, charging Phillip N. Roberts, 46, of the 2600 block of Sierra Drive in Shiloh with the above crimes.

The warrants were reviewed by St. Clair County Judge Robert Haida who set Roberts’ bond at $50,000.00 with 10% applying. Roberts is currently in custody at the St. Clair County Jail for want of bond.
