On Monday, September 9, 2022, at approximately 3:43 A.M., the Shiloh Police Department responded to a residence in the 200 block of Jarvis Drive in reference to a report of suspicious circumstances. Upon arrival, it was determined a subject had forced his way into the residence, and had an altercation with one of the subjects inside the residence. Both parties had non-life-threatening injuries. It should be noted this was not a random incident and the parties involved were known to each other. Shiloh Officers took the suspect into custody, and the case was forwarded to the St. Clair County State’s Attorney’s Office for review.
On Tuesday, September 6, 2022, St. Clair County Assistant State’s Attorney Erica Mazzotti issued warrant #22CF0137101 for Criminal Trespass to a Residence with a Person Present, a Class 4 Felony, and warrant #22CM0137102 for Battery, a Class A Misdemeanor, charging Logan M. Womble, 22, of the 7000 block of Mine Haul Road in Belleville with the above crimes.
The warrants were reviewed by St. Clair County Judge Robert Haida who set Womble’s bond at $30,000.00 with 10% applying. Womble is currently in custody at the St. Clair County Jail for want of bond.
