On October 13, 2022 at approximately 2:43PM, Shiloh Police Officers conducted compliance checks of the known sex offenders living in the village limits of Shiloh. Information was obtained that a registered offender in the 300 block of Tailfeather Drive was no longer in compliance with his required sex offender registration. Following investigation, Gulley was taken into custody on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 and the case was forwarded to the St. Clair County States Attorney’s Office for review.
On October 28, 2022 St. Clair County Assistant State’s Attorney Elizabeth Nester issued warrants #22CF0168101 and #22CF0168102 for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender – Subsequent, both Class 2 Felonies, each charging Martez A. Gulley, 43, of the 300 block of Tailfeather Drive in Shiloh with the above crimes.
Warrants were reviewed by St. Clair County Judge Zina Cruse who set Gulley’s bond at $25,000 with 10% applying. Gulley is currently in custody at the St. Clair County Jail for want of bond.
