On Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at approximately 11:01 A.M. Shiloh Officers were called to the 1000 block of Greenmount Road in reference to a hit-and-run accident. Upon officers’ arrival on scene, they made contact with the driver and passenger of the suspect vehicle. Both subjects had warrants from a previous case, and a suspected controlled substance was found on the person of the passenger of the vehicle. Both subjects were taken into custody for their warrants. The case was forwarded to the St. Clair County State’s Attorney’s Office for review.
On Tuesday, February 2, 2023 St. Clair County Assistant State’s Attorney Elizabeth Nester issued warrant #23CF0019701 for Possession of a Controlled Substance, a Class 4 Felony, charging Jason M. Conklin, 27, of the 600 block of Glen Mor Drive in Shiloh with the above crime.
The warrant was reviewed by St. Clair County Judge Jeffrey Watson who set Conklin's bond at $30,000.00 with 10% applying. Conklin is currently in custody at the St. Clair County Jail for want of bond.
