On Friday, July 21, 2023 at approximately 12:44 P.M. Shiloh Officers were called to the 2600 block of Lauren Lake Drive in reference to a verbal disturbance in progress. Upon arrival, officers contacted both subjects. It was determined the resident had a valid order of protection against the suspect. The suspect was taken into custody and the case was submitted to the St. Clair County State’s Attorney’s Office for warrant review.
On Saturday, July 22, 2023 St. Clair County Assistant State’s Attorney Derek Smith issued warrant #23CF0125401 for Violation of an Order of Protection Subsequent Offense, a Class 4 Felony, charging Charles A. Shockley, 51, of the 1st block of Phillips Drive in Fairview Heights with the above crime.
The warrant was reviewed by St. Clair County Judge Tameeka Purchase who set Shockley’s bond at $20,000 with 10% to apply. Shockley is currently in custody at the St. Clair County Jail for want of bond
