On Friday, August 11, 2023 at approximately 3:42 P.M. Shiloh Officers were called to the 200 block of Anderson Lane in reference to a physical disturbance in progress. Upon arrival, officers made contact with both subjects. After speaking with all parties, the suspect was taken into custody. The case was submitted to the St. Clair County State’s Attorney’s Office for warrant review.
On Saturday, August 12, 2023 St. Clair County Assistant State’s Attorney Martin Plute issued a two-count warrant# 23CF0140501 for Domestic Battery Subsequent, a Class 4 Felony, and warrant# 23CM0140502 for Interference Reporting Domestic Violence, a Class A Misdemeanor, both charging Quinton C. Chaney Jr., 32, of the 200 block of Anderson Lane in Shiloh with the above crimes.
The warrants were reviewed by St. Clair County Judge William Clay IV who set Chaney’s bond at $30,000 with 10% to apply. Chaney is currently in custody at the St. Clair County Jail for want of bond
