NEWS RELEASE - Unlawful Vehicular Invasion

On Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at approximately 5:32 A.M., Officers from the Shiloh Police Department were dispatched to the 100 block of South Main Street in Shiloh in reference to a domestic battery not in progress. Upon their arrival, they met with the victim. It was determined the victim's ex-boyfriend had been waiting for her in the 400 block of South Main Street.  He attempted to force his way into her vehicle, battered her, and fled the scene prior to officers’ arrival. The victim was later treated for non-life-threatening injuries at a local hospital.  The results of the case were submitted to the St. Clair County State’s Attorney’s Office for review.

On Friday, January 12, 2024, St. Clair County Assistant State's Attorney Martin Plute issued a five-count warrant,  #24CF0007801 for Unlawful Vehicular Invasion, a Class 1 Felony,  #24CF0007802 for Aggravated Domestic Battery/Strangle, a Class 2 Felony, #24CF0007803 for Domestic Battery-Subsequent, a Class 3 Felony, #24CF0007804 for Aggravated Battery-Public Place, a Class 3 Felony, #24CF0007805 for Stalking, a Class 4 Felony, and due to Holman's Parole status, Department of Corrections warrant EW 2400313 was also issued,  each charging Keith P. Holman, 37, of the 1st block of Concord Drive in Fairview Heights with the above crimes.

The warrants were reviewed by St. Clair County Judge Sara Rice, who signed Holman's warrants valid. Holman is currently at large, and should be considered dangerous.  If anyone has any information about Holman’s current whereabouts, please contact the Shiloh Police, or your local police department immediately.
