On Sunday, February 4, 2024, at approximately 4:04 P.M., The Shiloh Police Department was dispatched to Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers, 3320 Green Mount Crossing Drive, in reference to the battery of an employee.
Upon arrival, Officers made contact with the staff and the juvenile female victim. It was determined that two suspects, an adult female and a juvenile female, entered the restaurant battering the employee behind the counter of the business. The suspects fled the scene before police arrived. Officers were able to locate the suspects and they were taken into custody. The suspects were released from police custody for further investigation and pending a warrant review with the St. Clair County State’s Attorney’s Office.
On Tuesday, April 2, 2024 St. Clair County Assistant State’s Attorney Beth Nester issued a two-count warrant: #24CF0056801 for Aggravated Battery, a Class 3 Felony, and #24CF0056802 for Mob Action, a Class 4 Felony, charging Rozalyn A. Gill, 18, of the 300 block of Carlyle East in Belleville, Illinois with the above crimes.
The warrants were reviewed by St. Clair County Judge Sara Rice, who signed the warrants as valid. At this time, Gill is at large. Please contact the Shiloh Police Department with any information regarding her whereabouts. Charges against the juvenile suspect are currently pending.
