On Thursday, February 8, 2024, at approximately 8:14 P.M., The Shiloh Police Department was dispatched to Target located at 3400 Green Mount Crossing Drive in reference to a retail theft in progress.
Upon the officer’s arrival, they made contact with the staff and the suspect. After speaking with staff, it was determined that the suspect passed all points of sale without paying for multiple items. The suspect was taken into custody by police. She was found to have multiple active warrants through various law enforcement agencies. The case was forwarded to the St. Clair County State’s Attorney’s Office for warrant review.
On Friday, February 9, 2024 St. Clair County Assistant State’s Attorney Beth Nester issued warrant #24CF0028201 for Retail Theft Over $300.00, a Class 3 Felony, charging Cynthia C. Kremer, 47, of the 300 block of Catalina Avenue in Webster Groves, Missouri with the above crime.
The warrant was reviewed by St. Clair County Judge Jeffrey Watson, who signed the warrant as valid. A detention hearing has been scheduled to determine if Kremer will be released from the St. Clair County Jail pending further court proceedings. Kremer is in the custody of the St. Clair County Jail at this time.
