On Thursday, June 20, 2024 at approximately 1:38 P.M., The Shiloh Police Department was dispatched to a report of a combative subject with staff at Memorial Hospital Shiloh located in the 1400 block of Cross Street. Control was gained over the suspect, and the victims had minor injuries. The case was submitted to the St. Clair County State's Attorney's Office for warrant review.
On Tuesday, July 30, 2024, St. Clair County Assistant State's Attorney Beth Nester issued a four-count warrant, #24CF0128901 for Aggravated Battery to Private Security Officer, a Class 2 Felony, #24CF0128902 for Aggravated Battery to Private Security Officer, a Class 2 Felony, #24CF0128903 for Aggravated Battery to Private Security Officer, a Class 2 Felony and #24CF0128904 for Aggravated Battery to Emergency Medical Services Personnel, a Class 3 Felony, charging Deaundre J. Johnson, 29, of the 700 Block of Ganim Drive in Shiloh with the above crimes.
The warrants were reviewed by St. Clair County Judge Sara Rice, who signed the warrants valid. Johnson was subsequently located and arrested. Johnson is currently at the St. Clair County Jail.
