On Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at approximately10:20 A.M., The Shiloh Police Department was dispatched to a report of a subject who had been stabbed outside of a residence by an unknown subject in the 2200 block of Richland Prairie Boulevard. Dispatch advised the suspect left the scene north bound on Richland Prairie, and provided a physical description of the suspect. Upon officer’s arrival in the area, they observed the suspect who fled. A short foot pursuit occurred, and the suspect was taken into custody. The victim was transported to the hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. The case was submitted to the St. Clair County State's Attorney's Office for warrant review.
On Friday, July 26, 2024, St. Clair County Assistant State's Attorney Paris Bateman issued a three-count warrant #24CF0126001 for Aggravated Battery to Victim over 60, a Class 2 Felony, #24CF0126002 for Armed Violence, a Class X Felony, and #24CF0126003 for Unlawful Possession of Weapon by Felon, a Class 3 Felony, each charging Duran M. Robinson, 30, of the 2600 Block of Winsor Crest Court in Shiloh with the above crimes.
The warrants were reviewed by St. Clair County Judge Sara Rice, who signed the warrants valid. Robinson is currently in the custody of the St. Clair County Jail. A Petition for Pre-Trial Detention has been filed.
