On Friday October 11, 2024, at approximately 7:43 P.M., The Shiloh Police Department responded to Kings Mart located at 1551 Hartman Lane reference a shooting that occurred on the parking lot. A 16-year-old male juvenile had been shot multiple times. After being shot, the victim exited the vehicle he was a passenger in, walked into Kings Mart and collapsed. The Shiloh Police Department and EMS responded, and the victim was taken to an area hospital where he is being treated. The injuries do not appear to be life threatening.
The Shiloh Police Department has one person in custody that is not the actual shooter but had prior knowledge of the planned assault. Police continue to investigate and also look for the suspect vehicle, described as a dark grey Kia with heavy window tint. This incident was not a random act.
