On Friday, December 13, 2024, at 6:15 P.M. The Shiloh Police Department was notified by loss prevention at Target located at 3400 Greenmount Crossing in Shiloh that they observed a subject attempting to take items from the store. Loss Prevention took the suspect into custody without incident. Upon officers’ arrival, the suspect was turned over to Shiloh Officers. The case was submitted to the St. Clair County State's Attorney's Office for warrant review.
On Saturday, December 14, 2024, St. Clair County Assistant State's Attorney Robert Carwile issued warrant, 24CF0222501 for Retail Theft/Previous Conviction, a Class 4 Felony, charging Jason M. Conklin, 29, of the 700 Block of Glen Mor Drive in Shiloh, Illinois with the above crime.
The warrant was reviewed by St. Clair County Judge Dominic Kujawa, who signed the warrant valid. Conklin is currently in the custody of the St. Clair County Jail.
