The Shiloh Police Department releases St. Patrick’s Day “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” enforcement results

Shiloh, IL — The Shiloh Police Department issued 3 seat belt and child safety seat citations during the St. Patrick’s Day enforcement campaign.

Shiloh Police Department also took the following enforcement actions:

  • 5 distracted driving citations
  • 2 operating uninsured motor vehicle citations
  • 1 improper lane usage citation
  • 6 written warnings for additional traffic violations
  • 2 misdemeanor warrant arrests

By keeping impaired drivers off the roads and ensuring that motorists and passengers are buckled up, we’re able to help make the roads a safer place for everyone. The Shiloh Police Department joined forces with highway safety partners and both state and local law enforcement in the St. Patrick’s Day enforcement campaign.

The traffic safety effort was funded by federal highway safety funds administered by the Illinois Department of Transportation as part of the statewide “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” and “Click It or Ticket” campaigns.
