From the dates of May 27^th, 2018 through August 20^th, 2019, the Shiloh Police Department took multiple reports of thefts from the Circle K Gas Stations located at 2411 Lebanon Avenue and 105 S. Main Street in Shiloh. Through investigation, it was determined the same suspect committed each theft. This case was submitted to the St. Clair County State’s Attorney’s Office for review.

On Sunday, August 25^th, 2019, Assistant State’s Attorney Agnes Bugaj issued warrant #19CF0128701 for Retail Theft Over $300, a Class 3 Felony, and #19CM0128702 for Retail Theft- Subsequent Offense, a Class 4 Felony, and #19CF0128703 for Retail Theft- Subsequent Offense, a Class 4 Felony, charging Emon N. Shanklin, 55, of the 1800 block of Loretta Avenue, Cahokia, Illinois with the above crimes.

 The warrant was reviewed by St. Clair County Judge Andrew Gleeson who set Shanklin’s bond at $10,000. Shanklin is currently in custody at the St. Clair County Jail for want of bond.
