On Wednesday, September 11, 2019 The Shiloh Police Department was alerted at the end of the school day by the Administration of the Shiloh Village School District #85 of a student that made a threat towards the Shiloh Middle School located at 1 Wildcat Crossing for the school day tomorrow. The juvenile has been taken into custody and did not have means to carry out the threat in his possession at school. The juvenile will be held at the St. Clair County Juvenile Detention Center pending a juvenile petition to the St. Clair County State’s Attorney’s Office.
The Shiloh Village School District #85 has been working closely with our department to ensure the safety of everyone at the school. We take the safety of our schools very seriously and this incident will be investigated thoroughly. Our department will have an increased police presence at the school tomorrow as a precautionary measure.
