On Monday, July 22nd, 2019, the Shiloh Police Department took a report of a male subject who violated an Order of Protection. The victim reported the respondent messaged her numerous times and sent her a voice message over social media. The voice message was of a threatening nature. The suspect was located and taken into custody the following day on Tuesday, July 23rd, 2019. This case was submitted to the St. Clair County State’s Attorney’s Office for review.
On Wednesday, July 24th, 2019, Assistant State’s Attorney Jennifer Powell issued warrants #19CF0112001, for Intimidation, a Class 3 Felony; #19CM0002434, for Violation of an Order of Protection, a Class A Misdemeanor; and #19CM0002435, for Violation of an Order of Protection, a Class A Misdemeanor, each charging Sebastian L. Schlesinger, 21, of the 7700 block of Myrtlewood Drive in Belleville, Illinois with the above crimes.
The warrants were reviewed by St. Clair County Judge Robert Haida who set Schlesinger’s bond at $30,000, with 10% applying. Schlesinger is currently in custody at the St. Clair County Jail for want of bond.
