Prescription Drug Drop-Off Box Available at the O’Fallon Public Safety Building

got-drugs

The O’Fallon Public Safety Department has a Prescription Drug Drop-Off Box. Expired, unwanted, or unused prescriptions or over the counter medication can be dropped off on the first Saturday of each month from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the rear of the O’Fallon Public Safety Facility (285 N. Seven Hills Road).

The collected drugs will be disposed of via incineration. This method of destruction helps to keep drugs from entering our water supply and removes medications from homes where they could potentially be abused.

Liquids of any kind, needles (including Epi Pens), inhalers, or any aerosol medications will not be accepted.

For more information, please contact O’Fallon Police Lieutenant Kirk Brueggeman at 618-624-9538 or kbrueggeman@ofallon.org.
